FORRESTER-PATON Douglas Shaw 22-06-1921 to 29-12-2019 On December 29, 2019, at Middleton Hall, Co Durham, (formerly of Heaton Grove, Frizinghall, Bradford), peacefully, after a short illness, aged 98 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Kirsten and Elspeth, a son, Thomas, a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. Heartfelt thanks to the carers and nursing staff at Middleton Hall, who cared for him with great kindness and gentleness, particularly during his last illness. A funeral will be held on 22-01-2020 at 1:45pm, in St Hilda's Chapel at Teesside Crematorium, Acklam Rd, Middlesbrough, TS5 7HD, followed by a reception at St. Augustine's Church Hall, Kirkby Lane, Kirkby-in-Cleveland, Middlesbrough,TS9 7AQ. Family flowers only please, donations if desired are in support of Christian Aid. There will be a Memorial Service in July at St. Augustine's Church, Kirkby-in-Cleveland, details will follow.
