MACKRILL Marjorie (nee Jarratt) On June 22, peacefully at Well Springs Nursing Home. Marjorie aged 87 years, beloved wife of the late Ronnie and a much loved mum, mother-in-law, sister, nanna and nanna nanna. Funeral service and cremation at Nab Wood on Thursday July 4, at 1.20pm. No flowers please if desired donations in memory may be made to Marie Curie at the service. Please wear something pink

We were sorry to hear from Richard your news about Marjorie. He said that although she was his aunt because of their ages she and Betty were like sisters to him and Ronnie (Jarratt) when they were growing up.
When Jean and Ronnie moved to Cornwall Marjorie and Ronnie bought them a barometer, telling them that people on holiday always like to tap a barometer. It was one of the few things that came up with Jean when she moved into a care home here in Essex.
Jean has had Parkinson's for some time now and has difficulty with remembering recent events but remembers the distant past well and remembered the last time she saw Marjorie in Bradford.
