AGGISS Elaine Wendy On June 1st, 2019, aged 70 years and of Eldwick. Elaine's warmth and humour are the things that those who knew her will miss most. But her strength in remaining positive after the loss of her soul mate and husband Ian 6 years ago is also something that we will all remember. As a mum, she gave James and Thomas what they needed growing up, be it gentle encouragement or a clip round the ear. She was a much loved sister by Brian, Dennis, Susan and Ian, a doting Nanny to Milo and Clemmie, and a cherished aunt. A service of Thanksgiving and Celebration of her life will be held at the Church of All Saints, Bingley at 1.00pm on Monday, June 17, followed by cremation at Nab Wood Crematorium. Afterwards there will be a gathering at Oakwood Hall, Bingley where we can share memories of this remarkable lady. No flowers please, but donations in lieu to St Michael's Hospice, Harrogate and Cancer Research UK would be welcome in the designated collection boxes.
