FIRTH Charles Herbert (Bert) Peacefully on September 4, at Bradford Royal Infirmary and of Tyersal, Bert, aged 81 years. The much loved husband of Margaret, adored father of Sandra, a much loved and devoted grandad of Joanne and Ian, Victoria and Simon, Hayley and Matt, proud great-grandad Pops of Max, Harry, George, Isabel and Louie, also a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a life long pal of Tommy Winn. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 13, at Scholemoor Crematorium, at 1.20p.m. As a mark of respect for Bert, the funeral cortege will pause at Bradford City Football Ground, Midland Road, at 12.50p.m. Bert's family have asked for mourners to wear Bradford City colours. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Bert can be given to Ward 7, at Bradford Royal Infimary and a box for this purpose will be available at the service.
