Hi, I knew your Dad well, I spent most of my childhood at the farm. I loved your Gran & Grandad, Jean & Percy, they were lovely people. I also know your Mum Fran, she had a really lovely alsation dog (Major?). I knew your Dad from me being 9years old. He was a really nice man with a lovely smile and a cheeky sense of humour. I dont live in the UK anymore, when I heard the news I was shocked and saddened. Please give your Mum my very deepest condolences. My Sister Christine also sends hers. We are so sorry for your loss. As a kid in the 70's I remember Richard always turned up with plenty of firewood for the plot night bonfire at bottom of Munby Street, Bradford. My mum, Sylvia Doherty used to babysit him when he was a kid. I remember when he had a chimney fire at his house at the top end of Munby St, fire brigade got called out! R.I.P Richard, Simon Doherty
