The route wound its way through the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, taking in the villages of Cullingworth and Harden, as well as the outskirts of Blackhills Campsite.

For a unique twist, the scouts even traversed the manicured fairways of Keighley Golf Course.

This accomplishment holds particular significance as the majority of the participating Scouts were younger members, some of whom had only recently transitioned from Cubs.

Leaders praised the youngsters’ unwavering determination and teamwork as they tackled the impressive distance, which they said embodies the true spirit of Scouting.

"We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our scouts," said Evelyn Haigh, group leader for the 68th Bradford Scouts.

"Not only did they conquer a remarkable distance, but they also explored hidden gems of the Yorkshire countryside, including the beautiful Bingley St Ives estate, creating memories that will undoubtedly last a lifetime."
