Incident on Shipley Airedale Road

Earlier in the evening, a blue Vauxhall Corsa was left protruding from the metal barriers after it came to a stop.

Several bricks below the barriers were dislodged during the collision.

Remnants of a barrier and car's wheel trim are also on the ground nearby.

Meanwhile the white tanker remains in the far left lane.

A staff member working for Bradford Council is working at the scene to make the railings safe for members of the public.

Sparks have been flying into the air as the worker cuts the railings down.

The T&A has approached West Yorkshire Police and SBG for more information.
