The sky was filled with slate grey clouds, but Bradford came alive with colour and sound today.
Hundreds of people took part in the Lord Mayor's carnival parade as it wound its way around the city centre streets.
And this year's event was an extra special affair as it also marked part of the city's celebrations of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Crowds of spectators lined the streets as the parade, including specially created corgis and dozens of Union flags, passed by.
Musicians, entertainers, hundreds of children and even an Elvis Presley impersonator joined in the parade The parade was the final major event in the year for Lord Mayor Councillor Naveeda Ikram, who is replaced by Coun Dale Smith next week.
