  • A mum has spoken of her shock after midwives at Bradford Royal Infirmary provided milk for her new-born baby that was nearly five months past its best-before date.
  • A range of health support and advice was on offer to Bradford & Bingley’s 900 head office staff at a health awareness event.

Umpire Dickie Bird will be raising a tankard of Freddie Trueman Yorkshire Ale in Skipton on February 10, in memory of the cricketer.
  • A Bradford theatre company is staging the pantomime Cinderella this month to help a young persons’ cancer charity. 
The show, in aid of The Laura Crane Trust, will be at Bradford Playhouse in Chapel Street, Little Germany.
  • Professional rugby players descended upon a Bradford primary school in a new scheme. 
Bradford Bulls Craig Kopczak and Rikki Sheriff dropped into Springwood Community Primary School to put pupils through a training session and open the new library.
