Welcome to CHAS Bradford
CHAS Bradford believes that everyone has the right to a decent home. Through our services we provide free legal advice and assistance to anyone threatened with homelessness. We provide free debt advice, money management and support to people who need skills to maintain a home and a budget, providing assistance and education until our client is able to manage their own affairs. Through our Furniture Recycling scheme, families on a low budget can purchase good quality second hand, or low priced new, furniture and household goods. Our policy is that no one should have to exist without the basics. Furniture donations also enable Bradford and Calderdale residents to support members of their community and protect the environment at the same time. We aim to provide a holistic service which meets as many needs of our client target group as possible.

New Advice sessions available in your area ...
CHAS Housing aid has been granted funding from the Legal Services Commission to provide debt advice to both tenants and home owners. This is in addtion to our existing service for Incommunities tenants.
