Amateur footage of the Queen's visit to Bradford in 1954, a snow-covered Lister Park in 1913 and a scene from Billy Liar being filmed on a Bradford street are all on a new moving calendar compiled by the Yorkshire Film Archive.

The charity - which has a collection of 4,000 films, mostly amateur footage of life in the region over the 20th century - will each week add 60 seconds of archive film footage the calendar, providing a flavour of people, places, traditions and events from the past.

“It’s a great way to share more gems from our regional film collections,” said archive manager Graham Relton. “Each week we upload a bite-sized clip of topical or seasonal interest." Check back here regularly to see the updated videos - who knows, you might recognise yourself or a family member on them.
