John Parker writes: I am researching the life of Ethel Maude Parker, my aunt who lived in Bradford, born in 1890 into a house on Manville Terrace, and died in 1978.
She was always known as Maude, and in the 1940s and 1950s she lived with her mother, Sarah in a flat in Park Court, North Park Road, overlooking Lister Park.
I know she sponsored a family who emigrated from Hungary to England around the time of the Second World War.
