John C Taylor writes about Hockney Road in Bradford… but is it in fact a homage to the great artist?
He says: “Isn’t it about time that Bradford Council renamed Hockney Road off Thornton Road, Girlington, by adding at the very least a forename initial?
“I have always presumed it was named after artist David Hockney, even though this is, I believe, an incorrect guess by me.”
