Reader A MICHAEL MURPHY of Keighley writes: “During the course of research into my family history, I have been told that, possibly during the 1930s and 1940s, there was a succesful dance band in Bradford, which may have been directed from the piano by one of my relations, one of the McEvoy family, possibly John, Paul, Charles, or Fred (but not Ringo).
