25 years ago: Prince Charles gave messages of hope and encouragement to trainees in Bradford who were learning new skills to give them a future career.
50 years ago: Licensing committees at Keighley and Bingley, which included Shipley, Baildon and Denholme, granted applications for opening hours, under the new Licensing Act, to be from 11.30am to 3pm and from 5pm to 10.30pm on weekdays.
