25 years ago: Up to 20,000 sightseers gathered at Leeds-Bradford Airport to watch Concorde perform a low flypast before landing. It was in Yorkshire to take passengers on an Easter Sunday chartered flight over the North Sea.
50 years ago: Alderman Kathleen Chambers, Bradford's first woman Lord Mayor and first woman alderman, died in Bradford Royal Infirmary. She was in her early 80s.
