25 years ago: Bradford City FC chairman Jack Tordoff confirmed he had accepted an offer for his 80 per cent controlling interest in the club, after agreeing a deal - thought to be worth about £840,000 - with vice-chairman Terry Fountain, finance director David Thompson, and an unnamed Manchester-based businessman.
50 years ago: Plans for 289 new houses in the College Road area of Little Horton were set to go before Bradford Council's Public Works Committee, with the £1 million scheme designed to revitalise the area.
