25 years ago: A full-time youth worker was appointed to work solely on the Canterbury estate in Bradford, after a Council report highlighted young people aged 14 and above were becoming increasingly involved in drink and drug abuse, with more than half said to be cannabis users.
50 years ago: Bradford Council's transport committee said due to major plans to modernise Wakefield Road, such as the addition of roundabouts and flyovers, it could "not see any possibility" of trolley buses continuing to operate along the route.
