From the Telegraph & Argus of November 2, 1981...British Rail's new timetable for Bradford to London trains has brought sighs of relief for the county transport committee. Three through trains a day from Bradford to Leeds are to be axed in midweek but an extra one is to be put on in the early morning. The changes will be introduced on January 4, 1982.

From the Telegraph & Argus of November 2, 1956...Morris Titterington, of Plumpton Walk, Wrose, has won five prizes valued at a total of £29 5s in the annual photographic competition of the Isle of Man Tourist Board. He was awarded £20 for winning first prize in the sky and seascape class with a picture of Castleton harbour. Mr Titterington is a member of the Photographic Society and the Bradford Camera Club.
