As the new state-of-the-art building at Samuel Lister Academy in Nab Wood is unveiled, we take a look back at pictures of local schools from the T&A archives.
Nab Wood Middle School, on New Close Road, closed in 2000 and the Grammar School – also known as Nab Wood School, is now Samuel Lister Academy, on Cottingley New Road.
Our gallery includes pictures dating back to the late 1970s – we particularly like the photograph from the 90s showing pupils with new computers!
