Brighouse teenager Katie Ormerod has had a fantastic season competing against the world’s best female snowboarders.
She finished ninth at the Roxy Sno Pro in Austria in February and second in halfpipe and third in slopestyle at the Junior Burton European Open.
In last month’s British Snowboarding Championships in Laax, Switzerland, Katie won the overall slopestyle and big air titles and finished second in the halfpipe – winning gold in her age group in all three disciplines.
Katie’s cousin Jamie Nicholls won the men’s overall slopestyle event.
