FIRST-choice keeper Kirsty Matthews returned for Bingley Bees to keep a clean sheet at Leeds Adel Thirds in Division Two of the Yorkshire Women's League.
The Bees took a strong squad to Adel War Memorial Club but they had to be stern in defence in the first half, while relying on breakaways.
Second-placed Leeds Adel were rattled in the second half that the score was still 0-0 and both sides had opportunities to score from well-drilled short corners but failed.
Man of the match for the Bees, who remain bottom but are now only behind Pudsey and Otliensians on goal difference, was Mel Burgess.
