The 110th annual Bradford Whit Walk – the oldest amateur distance race walk in the world, held continuously since 1903 – is being staged on Bank Holiday Monday, June 4.
This year the race will incorporate the Northern 35 Kilometre Championship.
There will be a 35K event for the long-distance specialists and 15K for novices, including a ladies section. Both races start at 11am.
Changing rooms will again be located at Baildon Rugby Union Club on Jenny Lane.
The 35K will incorporate five laps of Baildon Moor, starting and finishing in Baildon town centre.
The event is again supported by the Bradford Metropolitan Council Sport and Leisure Service bactive campaign.
Taking part costs £6 and entry forms for the event can be obtained online from thewellspring@talktalk.net.
