RHEA Southcott, a rising star at combined events, will make her England debut on Saturday.
The 14-year-old Leeds City member from Baildon is competing in a home international in Glasgow.
England Athletics' under-15 combined events indoor champion will be taking part in the 800 metres, 60m hurdles, high jump, long jump and shot put against competitors from Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Rhea, who is also Yorkshire and Northern champion, was invited to join the England team after winning a silver medal in the combined events at this year’s English Schools' Championship.
She set a new county record in the Yorkshire event, and holds additional records as Manchester and SouthYorkshire champion.
Rhea, who is also ranked second in outdoor combined events, is fourth in the England all-time rankings for her age group.
She is determined to follow in the footsteps of her role model, Olympic and world heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill.
