Geoff Dowling is helping to organise Bradford Race Walking Club's final Winter League race on Sunday
BRADFORD-based Yorkshire Race Walking are promoting their final Winter League of the season at Drighlington on Sunday (11am).
The 10,000-metre event comprises seven laps of historic Adwalton Moor – venue of an English Civil War battle in 1643.
Changing facilities and after-walk presentations are at Drighlington Cricket Club, and there is a ladies' section in the race which is suitable for newcomers.
