Winter race waking season starts
The winter race walking season gets under way tomorrow, with Bradford-based Yorkshire Race Walking Club promoting their first Winter League fixture from Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre, Cleckheaton (11am).
Events are at 5,000 metres and 10,000m and a week tomorrow it is the Yorkshire Veterans' 3,000m Track Walk Championship from the Princess Mary Playing Fields at Cleckheaton.
