Bradford rally driver Barry Tottie kicks off his campaign to win his class next week in the world's largest rally series - the Hankook tyres 205/RWD Challenge.

Tottie will be joined by co-driver Holly Bailey at Wilbarston Airfield.

The pair are relishing their chances in the 1400cc class after finishing fourth overall last year in what was Tottie's first full season in the sport.

"We really want to do well as there is a chance that we can win the end-of-year prize of a week driving on a frozen ice lake in the Arctic Circle," said Tottie.

Car salesman Tottie is out to impress the many professional teams who watch the budget series - two previous champions have done well in the British Rally Championship in the last two years. Bailey, who is guiding Tottie around the five events in the Challenge, is also competing in the driving seat in the British Rally Championship - with her all-female team.
