BRADFORD racer Conrad Harrison had a perfect day at the Sidecar Bonanza meeting at Mallory Park as he and passenger Dean Kilkenny won all three races that they entered.

A furious four-way battle between Harrison, Wayne Lockey, Alan Founds and John Lowther occupied the first six laps of the WAS Autocentre Formula Two race.

The four outfits crossed the line in diamond formation, like a ground-based version of the Red Arrows, but when the quartet began lapping back-markers, Harrison was able to open up a slight gap.

By the end of 12 laps, he had an advantage of two seconds over Scunthorpe's Lowther brothers and Merseysider Founds.

Harrison led from the start in race two, with Founds scrapping for second alongside Lowther until Founds turned his sidecar over, causing the race to be stopped.

Fortunately neither driver nor passenger were hurt and they were able to mend the outfit before the final race of the day.

In the rerun, Harrison and Kilkenny were able to draw away and win by six seconds from Dave Wallis of Nottingham.

The final race of the day was the Kevin Lowndes Trophy – a handicap race in which Harrison started last but came through the field to win.

The Bradford speed ace stated afterwards that he should have had a bigger handicap to make it harder for him.
