CHRIS Mordue (Pudsey) and Aaron Harrison (Burnley) were the first qualifiers in the 2017 Rastrick Classic.

Mordue defeated Gary Foulkes (Kirkheaton Con) 21-16 in the last game, while Harrison defeated Chris' son Josh Mordue (Pudsey) 21-7 to progress to the finals.

Qualifying continues on Sunday, with Pudsey bowlers, Gary Wike and Liam Griffin in action.
