YORKSHIRE carded an impressive 457-368 win over a good Greater Manchester team in their first British Crown Green Senior County Championship match.

In the home contest at Ossett Flying Horse, Yorkshire carded nine winners, with debutant Josh Brown (Kirkheaton Con) 21-4 and Wayne Moseley (Lockwood Con) 21-7 being the pick of their victors.

The away game at Openshaw AEU Club saw Yorkshire card eight winners with another debutant starring, Josh Mordue (Pudsey) notching a stunning 21-10 victory to take the away sweep.
