Bradford & District Sea AC The new trip calendar should be ready for our next general meeting on January 15 in the New Inn, East Bierley, starting at 8pm. New members will be made most welcome. If you are interested in sea angling, boat fishing especially, why not come along? It’s only £10 per year and we book, what we think, are the best boats.

Bradford No 1 AA Widdington Hall will be closed both days this weekend for outside bookings. Tickets are still available for next Sunday’s open match at Cowthorpe from Simon on 01274-571175. All members must be in possession of a 2013 yearbook or receipt to fish association waters. Raskelf Lake is fishing well for F1s, ide and roach on maggot feeder.

Listerhills AA Membership books are now available from all the usual outlets and no one should be fishing club waters without up-to-date membership. Applications are now being taken for Leeds Amalgamation membership. The first batch are now completed. Any match angler who is interested in fishing in the National Championship on the Great Ouse at Littleport on August 3 should contact 07984-597328. For Sunday’s match at Pilley’s, the gate will be open at 8.30am, with the draw at 8.45am. Would the watchers please send a passport-sized photograph for the new cards.

Hewenden AC The winner of the pike Christmas cheer match was Michael Butler with 6lb 7oz. A big ‘thank you’ to Scott at KL tackle in Keighley for their generous donation of prizes. The next course match will be on Sunday, January 13 – £10 all in on the morning, 9am draw in the carpark. All members are welcome.

Bingley AC Yearbooks for 2013 are now available from all our agents, by post from the club secretary or online at bingleyanglingclub.co.uk. Anyone wanting to fish Bingley waters must be in possession of a current yearbook. The next committee meeting is on Tuesday.

Bradford City AA All members should now be in possession of the 2013 year book before proceeding to fish our waters. Membership is available form local tackle shops or the ticket and licence secretary. The rivers are now beginning to run off after heavy rain and should be well worth a visit this weekend. The first match of 2013 is on Sunday at Brampton Farm on the River Ure at Boroughbridge. Ticket price is £15 all in. There are currently two golden pegs, two at £100 and one at £25. Field AC The committee wishes all club members a happy new year. This year’s AGM is on Sunday, February 3 at 12:30pm and will be held in the Fighting Cock on Preston Street. Anyone wishing to put anything before the committee is asked to get in touch at least a week prior to the meeting.
