SOPHIA Basaraba followed on her successful month in the Borough of Kirklees meet at the Huddersfield Leisure Centre.

After her success at The Richmond Dales meet, the 11-year-old City of Bradford swimmer emerged victorious in the 50m and 100m backstroke as well as the 100m freestyle.

Basaraba was joined on top of the podium by sister Natalia, who claimed gold in the girls 14 years 100m breaststroke.

Archie Minto took gold in the 50m and 100m freestyle, 50m and 100m backstroke and the 50m and 100m butterfly with City's other gold medal being delivered by 16-year-old Sam Naylor in the 100m butterfly and backstroke.

Fraser Buxton finished a very creditable second in the 100m and 200m freestyle whilst Holly Marsden picked up a silver in the girls 14 years 100m backstroke.

Ebony Connell and Ella Jones both claimed silvers with Rachel Binns, Maya Griffiths, Adam Mitchell, Josh Jones and Luca Curini all picking up bronze.
