European title tilt for Bradford wrestler Hawthorn

Bradford wrestler Tommy Hawthorn has been selected to represent Team GB at the Cadet (15 to 17-year-olds) European Championships.

The event will take place next Tuesday in Katowice, Poland.

Hawthorn, who is 16, will be wrestling at 69kg. It is a tough tournament, with the likes of Russia and the Eastern Europeans taking part.
