Quest Taekwondo member Karl Harris stood out in the All Stars One On One Sparring Competition.
The 11-year-old from Cottingley was among eight Quest winners at the event, and head coach Rick Simpson noted that Harris dominated his opponent in both rounds, using his footwork to both create scoring opportunities and break down his rival's attacks.
Other winners were: Liam Burdock, Silsden; Andrew Greenwood, Denholme; Jamie Kidd, Silsden; Zak Spencer, Baildon; Jakub Jarocki, Baildon; Cameron Chapman, Greengates; and Daniel Sparkes, Greengates.
On the wrong end of the results were: Tyler Sparkes, Greengates; Jason Mann, Greengates; Gary Watt, Greengates; Liam Exley, Shipley; Rebecca Weir, Baildon; and Luke Jones, Barnsley.
Quest Taekwondo's next outing will be at the Nottingham Cup on Sunday, April 22, where they will be sending 20 sparring competitors to represent their Keighley, Bingley, Baildon and Greengates sites.
