BRADFORD'S Justine Davis-Hirst has set three Northern records in winning gold medals in the Northern Masters Weightlifting Championships at Mytholmroyd.

The 50-year-old Featherstone Weightlifting Club member, who is coached by Nick Hall (head coach) and Martyn Riley, had a snatch of 61kg and a clean and jerk of 71kg on the way to a total of 132kg, all of which were personal bests.

Next up for Justine, who has also qualified for the World Masters in Barcelona in August, was due to have been the British Masters at Lilleshall National Sports Centre tomorrow, but it has been called off due to the weather.
