EUROPE'S top wrestling show is returning to Bradford.

After a four-year absence, World Wrestling's tour will stop off at Valley Parade next Saturday.

Stars appearing on the tour include 'Mexican Sensation' El Ligero, who is widely regarded as one of Europe's top competitors, Nottingham powerhouse Stixx, Russian Nightmare Boris Koslov and Yorkshire's youngest-ever Megaslam champion, 17-year-old Robbie McKenzie.

World Wrestling managing director Brad Taylor believes that fans are in for a treat, saying: "The tour is centred on bringing some of the biggest international wrestling names to the UK.

"They will be featured in explosive, edge-of-your-seat matches and we cannot wait to return to Bradford.

"We love coming to Bradford but the city has never seen anything like this show – a truly international spectacular."

Wrestling is a rapidly rising entertainment and Taylor insists that his show has never been so popular.

"Our shows are attracting big crowds nationwide – there is something special about bringing a world-famous show to a town or city that is not used to seeing this action on their doorstep," he said.

"We put on shows for families and it is a good family night out – cheer the good guys and boo the bad guys, a real family affair."

Matches scheduled to take place during the two-hour show include a tag team mayhem contest, a Megaslam championship confrontation and this year's spectacle, a Royal Rumble.

Tickets are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/megaslamwrestling, with the option of VIP passes. The doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.
