LITTLE Jackson Done is celebrating becoming one of the youngest-ever national taekwondo champions at the age of just five.

Jackson was competing at the British Championships in Manchester for Horizon Taekwondo Academy, who were the third-placed team overall.

The youngster and team-mate Sam Taylor, both from Keighley, won their divisions while helping their team up the medals table.

Ellie Bowden, aged 16 from Cullingworth, claimed her fourth and fifth national titles by winning in the juniors and seniors sections.

Jamie Kidd of Silsden earned his second national crown, including a knock-out in his second of three fights.

Horizon's team, from their clubs at Silsden, Keighley, Baildon, Cottingley, Shipley and Odsal, were among almost 1,000 competitors from 100 different clubs.

In total they came away from the event with 11 gold, ten silver and 14 bronze medals.
