There were 11 representatives of the Bradford Bulldogs present at the recent Inter-Conference tournament at the Hull Arena.
The Bradford youngsters were all selected to play for the North of England at the event, with local players chosen in all four age groups of under-11s, 13s, 15s and 17s.
North of England competed against other regional teams from the Midlands, South East, South West and Scotland.
First place was claimed by the North of England side in the under-15 category but they only recorded fourth and fifth places in the other age sections.
Ten-year-old Kieran Brown was chosen as a forward in the under-11s’ All Star team.
The Bulldogs are now recruiting new players for the 2011/12 season, and are looking for under-tens, 12s and 14s to join its Learn to Play programme on Wednesday evenings between 5.30pm and 6.30pm. Anyone interested should contact head coach Andy Brown on 07976-931842.
