Bradford Bulldogs will be glad to see the back of leaders Telford after another heavy defeat in English National League Two North.

For the second time running, the Bulldogs were thumped 14-1 by the unstoppable Titans, who have won all four meetings between the teams this season.

Slovakian wing Karol Jets scored six goals, having netted seven against Bradford in November. Jared Owen added four, Dave Fielder two and there was one each for Kev Parton and Ian Jesson.

The Bulldogs' only goal was scored in the final period by Jack Oakley assisted by Josh Stockton.

Matters came to an head towards the end of the game when Bradford's Chris Forster and opponent Jesson came to blows.

They were joined by Jets, who left the Telford bench to take part in a nasty confrontation.

The referees threw both Forster and Jesson out of the game, with Jets spending time in the penalty box.

The defeat leaves Bradford a point above bottom club Lancashire Raptors. They are next in action at home to Grimsby on Sunday, February 8 (5.15pm).

There was better news for the Bulldogs under-14s team, who clinched their championship unbeaten.

Myles Dacres led the way against Nottingham with seven goals in a 12-1 win. Joel Marrow (2), Joe Armstead and Niall Heaton were also on the scoresheet.

Bradford went one better at Sheffield with a 13-1 victory to make sure of the title. Dacres again top-scored with four goals, Marrow added three and there were further goals from Leon Pryce (2), Liam Kirton, Heaton, Armstead and Nathan Gill.

Bulldogs’ under-12s also continued their good form by beating Manchester 6-1. Alfie Glenn (2), Kieran Brown (2), Connor Parkin and George Harry got the goals to keep them joint-top of the table.
