Bradford Bulldogs bounced back from their defeat at Telford in fine style.

They came out all guns blazing and pounded the Grimsby net with shots but found their netminder in great form.

Michael Fletcher made the breakthrough with two minutes left in the opening period.

Goals from Aaron Dad and a shorthanded effort by Josh Stockton made it 3-0 at half-time.

The floodgates opened in the third period, with five more goals. Matt Viney grabbed a hat-trick and Jack Oakley and Alex Burgess – making his debut – were also on target.

The Bulldogs have a tough weekend on the road coming up.

They travel to Manchester on Saturday then make the trip to North Wales the following day to face league leaders Flintshire.

This year the club has joined up with Newcastle to play at under-ten level.

The team went to Manchester on Saturday and lost 10-8.

The team were awarded the match though due to Manchester not having enough players.

Kieran Brown scored four and the Bulldogs remain unbeaten after four games.
