KEIGHLEY'S Muhammad Ali claimed his third successive win in the World Series of Boxing to help British Lionhearts reach the quarter-finals next month.

Unbeaten Ali earned a unanimous points win over Imad Ahyoun as Lionhearts triumphed 4-1 over Morocco Atlas Lions in Casablanca.

An impressive first round from Ahyoun was soon forgotten as the former Bradford College student raised the tempo superbly to dominate his opponent from the third round and run out an emphatic winner, which put him out in front on his own at the top of the 52kg individual flyweight rankings.

The Brits' success ensured they finished the regular season top of Group B with five wins and a single loss and set up a last-eight clash at home to French Fighting Roosters at York Hall on Saturday, May 20.

Calum French, Pat McCormack and Petar Belberov also claimed victories for the Lionhearts, with Radoslav Pantaleev suffering the only defeat.
