An exciting new website has been created by Bradford player Kevin Firth for all snooker and billiard-minded players to use and keep up to date with regular news and views, in a forum format.
The site can be accessed at www.thebaize.freeforums.org and is open to anyone, with membership free and easy to set up online.
It is expected that membership will build up quickly, with not only local players joining debates and discussing topics but also players from outside the district who will have news of tournaments in their own areas.
The site will be a good way of keeping everyone up to date with developments in the game, as well as the jovial banter that exists between players, keeping a light hearted feel to the site.
This is an excellent addition to the Bradford snooker site set up earlier this year by Firth’s Bradford team-mate Sajid Khan, the address being www.bradfordsnooker.pwp. blueyonder.co.uk.
* The entry forms for all the Bradford snooker and billiards championships are to be sent out before the end of the month.
These are for the Heys Trophy, Bradford snooker singles and pairs, Bradford billiards singles and Moorhouse Shield.

* The Conservative Games League presentation night was held recently at Queensbury Conservative Club, with awards as follows:
