AIREDALE A carded an 18-14 victory over Nuneaton in Division Two of the Federation, winning the overall aggregate by 23 chalks.

In the home match at Rufford, Airedale A carded an impressive nine winners, with Dan Carter (Tarnfield) and Chris Hight (Farsley) both winning 21-9 as Airedale A won the home match 11-3, taking the aggregate by 58 chalks.

It was the same score in favour of Nuneaton in the match at Baddesley as Airedale A only managed three winners but they only lost the aggregate by 35 chalks to ensure that the four bonus points went to Airedale A.

They remain with a chance of winning promotion as they take on Fylde A in their last match. Wallasey look like favourites for promotion with matches against Colne Valley and Nuneaton to play, but it looks like two of the top three will be promoted.

Airedale B carded an impressive 23-9 win over UK Police to almost guarantee promotion back to Division Five.

In the home match at Guiseley, Airedale B managed 11 winners, with Guy Greene (Myrtle Park) 21-6 and Andy Howie (Shipley Club) 21-8 being the pick of them, while in the away match at Rykneld Bowling Club, Ken Lee (Rufford) starred with a 21-6 success as Airedale B won 8-6.
