FORMER winner John Wellham saw off the challenge of Dean Parker to reach the quarter-finals of the Bradford Snooker Championships with a 4-1 last-16 victory.
Wellham, who won the title in 2014, will now face Lewis Walsh for a place in the last four.
Full draws for Bradford Championship events - Singles quarter-finals: Howard Mawson v Gareth Green, Kevin Firth v Wayne Cooper, Mark Ball v Russell Morgan, John Wellham v Lewis Walsh.
Pairs semi-finals: Gareth & Anthony Green v Wayne Cooper & Kevin Firth, John & Chris Wellham v Lewis Walsh & Howard Mawson.
Players have until Sunday, April 2 to complete their matches.
Quarter-final first-leg matches in the Hey's Trophy and Hopkinson Plate get underway tomorrow night, with the second legs a week tomorrow.
