MARK Regan (Brighouse Sports) was the winner of the Spen Victoria CB & AC Winter Sweep last Saturday after defeating Chris Mordue (Pudsey) 21-20 in the final.

Regan, the runner-up for the previous two weeks, managed to edge over the line, beating last week’s winner Mordue in the final.

Impressive wins over Gordon Bradford (Elland) 21-6 and Adam Douglas (Huddersfield) 21-9 saw Regan into the quarter-finals, where he defeated Simon Walder (Lower Hopton) 21-17, and then Paul Ingleby (Lower Hopton) 21-18 in the semi-finals.

The final could have gone either way, but it was Regan who won the Sweep to remain top of the current leaderboard.
