BRADFORD is proud to be hosting yet another quality snooker exhibition – with six-time world champion Steve Davis heading in.

Following on from the Ronnie O Sullivan against Judd Trump challenge match, Davis will be at the Fields Sports and Social Club in Lidget Green on Saturday, October 15, with the profits to be donated to the Bradford Burns Unit.

Davis has recently officially retired from competing on the main tour, having turned professional in 1978, but still plays the exhibition circuit around the country as well as commentating for the BBC on televised events.

Having won 28 major ranking events – including three Masters titles and six UK Championship titles – and 53 non ranking events, Davis is without doubt one of the true legends of the sport and his exhibitions are a thoroughly enjoyable night.

Current ten-time Bradford champion Wayne Cooper will be one of those facing Davis, along with a select few from within the sport locally.

There will also be a raffle for chances to win a signed cue and play a frame against 'The Nugget'. Fans will be treated to a fantastic trick shot routine and there will be an opportunity to have a photo with Davis.

Tickets are priced at £25 and are selling fast. Those wishing to purchase tickets can do so by contacting either Richard Bakes (07940 651850), Craig Fenton (07414 755846) or Paul Ascough (07969 895381).
