* THE Farsley Winter Pairs gets underway on Sunday with the first of eight qualifying rounds before finals day on Sunday, November 13.

In each qualifying round, 16 pairs will play down to two qualifiers, with an entry fee of £15 per pair and a first prize of £800.

The semi-finals between Tyersal and Clayton and Asa Briggs A and Salts will be played simultaneously at Cleckheaton Sports (back green) from 1pm, with the final following on the same green.
