There was another round of Federation fixtures last Sunday, although Bradford had no game.

UK Police defeated Burton 23-9, which means Bradford go into their final game against UK Police on Sunday, July 24 with a nine-point advantage, and are favourites to finish top of Division Six (Midlands/Yorkshire).

Should Bradford finish top, they will play the runners-up in Division Six (North West) on Sunday, August 21, with the winners promoted to Division Five.

Meanwhile, Halifax defeated Leeds A 18-14, with both teams still in with a chance of taking the Division One title, although Airedale may well think they are also in with a chance with matches to play against both Halifax and Leeds A.

Airedale B look a certainty for relegation in Division Five after a third successive defeat – 25-7 to Dudley.

Even a large win against Liverpool/St Helens in their final group game on Sunday, August 21 would be unlikely to save them from demotion.

Bradford competition entries have been disappointing this season, and as such the qualifying round for the Four-A-Side Knockout will not take place tomorrow (Saturday) evening.

It is hoped that additional entries can be found so that the qualifying round can take place on Friday, July 22.
