YORKSHIRE followed up their victory over Lancashire by defeating Cheshire in the British Crown Green County Championship.

The white rose side carded nine home winners at Crosland Moor, with Ashley Daykin 21-5, Harry Seehra 21-7 and Craig Gant 21-7 the pick of them as Yorkshire won by 62 chalks.

Scott Fisher and Graeme Wilson both carded 21-12 winning cards in the away match at Meadowbank BC as Yorkshire pinched the away aggregate by nine chalks, taking the match 462-389.

Next up for Yorkshire is a game against Wales on Sunday, July 3, with the winners progressing to the semi-finals in August.
