STEVEN Gilroy (Crossgates) and Graeme Wilson (Lower Hopton) were week two qualifiers in the 2016 Shipley Classic, sponsored by HH Birch & Son Ltd and RSK Fastenings.

Gilroy qualified with impressive wins over Andy Thornton (Barrow-in-Furness) 21-12, John Spinks (Pudsey) 21-14 and Mark Regan (Brighouse Sports) 21-12, while Wilson made it through with wins over Steve Griffiths (Denholme) 21-5, John Hanson (Chipping) 21-18 and Chris Bly (Chadderton) 21-6.

Qualifying continues tomorrow evening, with 2013 champion Stuart King (Asa Briggs) among those in action.
